As he heads into his much-deserved retirement, I’m pleased to carry on the legacy of Tom Bourne, founder of Bourne Marimbas, and a master of the craft for the past 25 years. Tom’s marimba designs have set the standard for classroom music programs throughout the US, and internationally. These beautiful instruments sound as wonderful as they look, and continue to delight thousands of music teachers, students, and parents. I joined Tom a few years ago in building the various Bourne Marimba models. And like Tom, my love and talents in music and woodworking continue to produce quality instruments for all to enjoy.
